About
Welcome! I’m a woman in my late twenties who is living and working in Philadelphia. I am in debt and I want out. It may take me years, but I will make it happen. Along the way, there are other things I need to do, such as maintain an emergency fund and build up my retirement savings. The true desire of my heart for years has been to own my own home, and now I have one, with all of the responsibilities homeownership entails. This blog is about my journey to turn my net worth from negative to positive, meet my financial goals, and do it all while finding a way to maintain a happy and healthy lifestyle (and credit rating) along the way. In this post, I give a broad overview of where I was when I started this blog, how I got there, and where I am trying to go. I am not a financial advisor. This website does not exist to give financial advice, and if you want financial advice, you should consult a professional. This blog does, however, detail my personal financial journey through my own eyes in my own words. I love reader feedback, and I welcome suggestions and questions.
Hope you enjoy my site. It’s Version 2.0 of The Hustle of Sistah Ant, which debuted at another host and address back in 2007. I’ve since accomplished about $40,000 of Net Worth progress, and captured the true desire of my heart. My focus has shifted, so it was time for a change. I’m moving onward and upward!
